lyrics

Tilea, in ancient times
A city of dwarfs and men
Built by older, wiser hands
In the dawn of our world
Prosperity, above and below
In praise of the gods
Shall rise the tower

A monument to pierce the sky
A task of generations stagnates
Until comes forth
A stranger clad in grey
He asks just a single boon
To see the tower complete
What have we to lose?

Come midnight
The wind blew as parted clouds
There stands the tower
His dedication to the gods was there
Gleaming cold in the moonlight
But of the stranger there was no sign

Chime, chime
Thirteen times
Strikes the great horned bell

Lightning split the sky
And thunder echoed the sound
Morrslieb flashing bright
An ominous silence fell

Black, like ash, the rain came down
Great stones cleft the heavens
Newborns, hideously twisted
Death amidst despair and disease
Hulking vermin stalk the streets
Feeding on the sick and weak
Drowning screams in hideous chattering
Born is the skavenswarm
